How We Use Your Information
Any personal information you share with us online—which could include your full name, full address, email address, phone and fax numbers, and credit card number—is not sold or rented. Period. Any personal information given online for product purchases is supplied to the appropriate manufacturer in the form of a shipping order only to process that order. Our sites does not take nor store credit card information in order to meet the mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance.
When you enter our shopping cart, the personal information you provide is in an area that is not secure until you continue on to the Payment Information page. From this point until your transaction is complete, you will see a "Security Alert Box" advising you that you are in a secure area.
You may cancel your order at any time before submitting payment information by selecting Cancel from any previous page in the Checkout process or by closing your browser. Once you submit payment information on the order form, your order is recorded in our system.
The information we retrieve from the site is used only to process your order. When it comes into our site, it is saved to a secure location that is only accessible to PoleCoverings.com and you via user names and passwords. Credit Card information is not stored in our database; one print copy of your order is made when the order is first taken from the database. This copy is used to facilitate the issuance of credit, if necessary, and for tax purposes only.
ClickCartPro, the program that runs our shopping cart (under license from Kryptronic, Inc., and ATS Commercial Group LLC), will occasionally require repairs or updates to keep it running accurately and efficiently. At that time a temporary password is set so a programmer can access the program's administrative files.
Our commitment to children's privacy is important to us. For that reason, we do not collect or maintain information from those site visitors we actually know are under 13 years of age. Additionally, no part of this site is designed to attract anyone under 13 years of age.
From time to time we email our customers—using only first names and email addresses—information about "Special Deals" or "New Products" from our Shopping Mall that we believe may be of interest to you. You may update your email address in our Mailing list online.
Again, we do not rent or sell customer personal information!
In order for us to fulfill your order(s), we need to share some of your personal (not credit card) information with outside parties such as fulfillment houses or manufacturers. If you do not want this information shared with them, we will be unable to fill your order.
Periodically we send emails to our customers announcing "Special Deals" or "New Products" in our Shopping Mall. If you would prefer not to receive such emails, please send us an email with "Remove" in the subject line.

Our site meets the mandatory Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance, which is in place to protect customers' private information for orders both online and in office. When you place an order online through our site, your credit card information is not placed on the site, nor is it stored. Rather, when you are ready to commit to your order (i.e., submit payment), you'll be taken offline to our secure PCI Compliance processing gateway, Authorized Net, where your credit card information will be verified and authorized in the amount of the ordered placed.
To meet mandatory PCI Compliance in our office, we will no longer take phone orders so as to not be in direct contact with our customers' credit card information. Because PoleCoverings.com meets PCI Compliance, you can rest assured that your personal data is protected when making an online order with us. We encourage you to protect your credit card information by placing your order online and not by phone or fax. We apologize in advance if this causes any inconvenience, but we feel your personal data is best protected when you are in control of that information and not us.
